Stop, Pray, then Read.
Just a reminder for all of us. We need to have discernment as we feed ourselves on information to understand the times we are facing.
Keeping in mind of some the struggles I had last year. Where I found myself in situations that my emotions were being manipulated, behave outside of my identity in Jesus, and no longer useful to bring LIGHT to a situation.
I didn’t want that to happen again. So as I was about to read something that was sent to me, I had to stop myself, pray this prayer [above] then read what was sent.
These hours leading into January 20th we can find our emotional strings being pulled, so to speak. No matter what happens, let’s anchor ourselves to these scriptures:
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
2 Chronicles 12:7 … “Since they have humbled themselves, I will not destroy them but will soon give them deliverance.
Psalm 5:11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
And lastly, remember we were appointed to this time in history.
Acts 17:26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.
