I found a social media post about women’s ministry as being a joke. They’re not saying that women are a joke or that women do not need to be ministering, but most just have little slogans like: “You’re more than a conquer in Christ.” Which is true but more meat needs to be served, adding to the nugget of bread to truly feed the guest who stopped to read the social media post.
Fortunately, I follow very strong women in ministry who minister God’s word, the power of God, and walk in God’s fullness.
However, truthfully, I have been fluffy with my posts in the past. I want to speak of the power of the Holy Spirit, share my more profound thoughts and desires, but I don’t, fearing I would be labeled one of those hyper-spiritual Wack jobs.
I genuinely want to walk in the fullness of my salvation—the fullness of Jesus Christ.
What does that mean?
Jesus said in John 14:12 that whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father.
When scripture records the apostles’ ministry, it describes what God did through them to authenticate the gospel message. We need to be doing the same.
Biblically, their power never attributes healing to mere objects or even specific human beings. Instead, miraculous healings serve as evidence of God’s grace and power.
(Acts 3:12-16 CEV).
Peter saw that a crowd had gathered, and he said:
Friends, why are you surprised at what has happened? Why are you staring at us? Do you think we have some power of our own? Do you think we were able to make this man walk because we are so religious? The God that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and our other ancestors worshiped has brought honor to his Servant Jesus. He is the one you betrayed. You turned against him when he was being tried by Pilate, even though Pilate wanted to set him free.
You rejected Jesus, who was holy and good. You asked for a murderer to be set free, and you killed the one who leads people to life. But God raised him from death, and all of us can tell you what he has done. You see this man, and you know him. He put his faith in the name of Jesus and was made strong. Faith in Jesus made this man completely well while everyone was watching.
We can walk in ministering as they did, but how?
This ability is not because of us. It is Christ in us or us in Him. I desire to walk out and shift the atmosphere of darkness, and I believe this can be achieved. I carry him in the room.
I ask the Holy Spirit to flow from me so that the world around me experiences HIM, not me. I walk in healing and holiness because the blood of Jesus is real, and HE redeemed me.
I want to walk and know the fullness of my salvation. I am not saying that I want to leave this Earth and experience Heaven. No, I want to walk my life out with the original mandate in mind (Gen. 1:28).
Colossians 1:13.
For he rescued us from the dominion (authority) of darkness (spiritual, moral, and intellectual darkness, evil) and brought (transferred or re-located) us into the Kingdom of the Son, he loves and in whom we have redemption (which designates deliverance through Christ from evil and the forgiveness which is released from bondage with added quality of canceling out all judgment, punishment, obligations or debt).
This “release” isn’t just a time-served attitude. With this thought, we deserve to be released from this bondage, no matter our sins. Remember, sin is sin; don’t think one is greater than another. You hold bitterness or rob the bank; it is all sin in the eyes of the Lord. We all sin, Romans 3:23, but we are to do away with our sinful nature once we are redeemed, Eph 4:22.
So, what does it mean to me to walk in the fullness of my salvation?
To walk in all the things that Jesus paid a precious price for me to have. To restore my position as a woman created in God’s image. I am not a puppet to the authority of this world; NO, I carry the authority to cut off the strings of the puppet master that manipulates by pulling on the emotions and or mindsets of those who have an anti-Christ attitude.
Let us stop being so passive in our beliefs. Let us look to the word of God and ask the Holy Spirit for understanding and let us walk as citizens of Heaven here on Earth, being the representatives of Jesus Christ, conquering all that HIS BLOOD paid for.
